Capital Developments struck big at the North West Property Awards (NWPAs) after claiming the prize for Best Small New Home Development. The developer recently rebranded from New Regen, picked up the prestigious award for their stellar work on City Residence Phase One.

The NWPAs are held annually to celebrate and reward excellence in the region’s property industry. Capital Developments picked up the award alongside Fibre Architects and Kingsmead Group.

Capital Developments is part of a broader group of companies based in Liverpool that has years of experience in all aspects of property investment, finance, development and management. Capital Developments was established to redevelop brownfield sites into large property developments. Capital Developments specialises in both residential and student markets throughout the Northern Powerhouse region.

The award is much-deserved for Capital Developments, who have an impeccable track record in their dealings with RW Invest. The developer has worked alongside RW Invest on more than one occasion. The two have teamed up to develop L1 Studios and One Islington Plaza; two sold-out developments that, like City Residences, were the subject of high and intense interest from investors. Capital Developments and RW Invest have also worked together on Crosby Gardens and Sky Gardens, yet another two high-end, luxury developments that have brought prestige to the Northern Powerhouse property market.

City Residence NWPA Award

The first phase of the City Residence project is one of RW Invest’s most exciting investment opportunities to date. Encompassing 30 townhouses and semi-detached properties that offer investors incredible value for money, City Residence Phase One was met with fevered interest, with the property selling out quickly after being made available. Offering a net rental return of 7%, City Residence Phase One was too good of an opportunity for investors to pass up. The second phase of City Residence will be comprised of 78 luxury apartments which are due for completion in Q4 2018.

Speaking to Business Up North, Fibre Architects Managing Director Martin Booker said: “To win such a prestigious award is testimony to our team’s hard work in delivering such a high-quality project. We’re really proud to have been recognised amongst some excellent schemes.”

The development of 30 three and four-bedroom homes, at the cost of £3 million, is located to the north of Liverpool city centre and was designed with both families and professionals in mind. The scheme comprised a mixture of semi-detached and terraced properties, with some built over three floors to maximise development values.

L1 Studios will provide 52 student studio apartments in the heart of Liverpool city centre. Situated close to the Liverpool ONE retail complex, L1 Studios are due for completion at the end of 2018.

Also due to complete at the end of 2018, One Islington Plaza is a sizeable venture between Capital Developments and RW Invest. Boasting 317 studio and ensuite apartments, One Islington Plaza is situated near the University of Liverpool and Liverpool Hope University’s city centre campus.

Crosby Gardens is another luxury development, this one placed right in the centre of one of Liverpool’s most affluent and attractive suburbs. With 41 apartments up for grabs, investors will take heed of the development’s location; right on the picturesque and luxurious Crosby coastline. Crosby Gardens is perfect for young professionals looking for something away from the hustle and bustle of Liverpool’s city centre.

Last, but certainly not least, Sky Gardens is another North Liverpool development bringing a touch of class and luxury to the area. Its 43 apartments, complete with a gorgeous roof terrace, will stand out in the locality.
