Considering a back-to-market property can be a great way for an investor to stumble upon a great deal.Â
But many potential investors are unaware of the facts about back to market deals. For those in the know, back-to-market deals can offer plenty of benefits over other property investments, including less risk, higher returns, and some of the most attractive and in-demand properties.
So what exactly is a back-to-market property?
Essentially, back-to-market properties are properties that are placed back on the market again for investment, opening it up to offers from the public.
For example, a back-to-market off-plan property would see an investor selling their unit back to the developer. This unit will be put back on the market and will be open to a new investor at the original price or less.
The property may still be under construction, but in some rare cases it is fully finished, and sometimes already even tenanted making it a low risk and instant-returning investment opportunity.
