One Islington Plaza is fast approaching completion as key packages make excellent progress.

The CP board to the externals of the build are 100% complete, as well as insulation and the roof. Windows, pictura cladding and aluminium cladding are all 99% complete with the remaining materials ready and on site.

Construction is booming at One Islington Plaza. Primary works during this quarter include the completion of insulation and substantial progress to the window installation.

Most of the progress is continued works to cladding, ground floor walls, the lift, partitions, doors, ceilings and more. Furniture, fixtures and equipment have now commenced which is an exciting step towards the completion of the project.

 

Summary of Works Progressed

  • Insulation is now all complete.
  • Windows and glazing have made significant progression and are now 90% complete with 7% of the remaining materials on site.
  • Pictura cladding and aluminium cladding are both 97% installed.
  • Ground floor walls have reached 94% completion.
  • The lift has been installed to 99% and just needs a small amount of more work before completion.
  • Internal partitions are 97% installed and internal doors are 90% installed.
  • The ceilings have progressed well now at 87% completion.

Construction is well underway at this Liverpool development where insulation and picture cladding are both very nearly complete.

New construction highlights for this period include the bathrooms being skimmed and mist coated to some lower floors, and internal decoration and fit out works commencing in a number of units.

Many works have been completed during the last quarter at the development such as CP boarding, lift shaft installation and beam and block flooring.

One Islington Plaza has seen the cladding also progress well to 40%, and a number of tasks are in their final stages before completion. The roof just needs a little more work before it completes, and first fix mechanical and electrical works are not far behind.

Construction is progressing well at One Islington Plaza with no adversities according to the latest update from the developer.

The contractor has increased onsite labour in cladding subcontractors to help achieve watertight status sooner. Notable progression in this period is the completion of underfloor drainage, mast hoists and the substantial progress made to the roof.

Staying true to schedule, a number of activities have been completed during the last quarter. Metal decking and concrete to all floors are both now 100% complete as well as all external blockwork.

The installation of the roof has commenced as well as the installation of mast hoists, which will aim to be completed by the next construction period.

Devon Street is buzzing with construction activity this quarter as the steel framework can now be seen emerging from the site’s soil.

All groundworks have been completed during the period including drainage and foundation works to allow for the erection of the steel frame which will stretch up to over 9 storeys high.

  • Completion of groundworks including drainage and foundation.
  • Bolt box supports now in place.
  • The steelwork erection is underway.
  • A more permanent hoarding has been installed around the compound.

  • Building Consents to continue carrying out regular inspections.

Construction has begun at One Islington Plaza in Liverpool.

Groundworks have commenced which consist of many tasks including excavation, foundation works and design to prepare the site for the steel frame installation.
