The development has achieved official legal completion, and this is, therefore, the final construction update you will be receiving for this project. The accompanying images illustrate the outstanding quality implemented throughout the entire development, which has been completed by the award-nominated Legacie Developments.

April 2019

Internal works at Ropemaker Place show progression across the zinc cladding which has commenced, apartment walls and ceilings, carpet floor finishes and bathroom fittings.

Some highlights of the previous quarter include; A number of external works such as the steel frame structure and internal staircase structure.

 

Summary of Works Progressed

• The superstructure external walls, curtain walling and windows are nearing completion. Plus, the first fix electrical, plumbing and heating works are also nearly completed.
• Bathroom fittings, plaster finishes to walls and ceilings are nearing completion.
• General fixtures and fittings have started being put in place ready for the development to be completed.
• Kitchen units and appliances have commended and are almost halfway complete at 45%.
• Second fix electrical, plumbing and heating works are 75% complete.
• Carpet floor finishes have begun and have been installed to some of the units (5%).

 

Works Scheduled

• Continue with decorations and finish throughout development in order to complete.
• Complete superstructure external walls, zinc cladding, plaster finished to walls and ceiling. General fixtures and fittings will also be mainly completed during the next quarter.

Construction progress at Ropemaker Place is going well with a number of activities complete or nearing completion.

Progression highlights all works completed to date which have mainly consisted of structural works to floors, the staircase and the steel frame. The timber flat roof surface has also been completed. In terms of works progressed, first and second fix electrical, plumbing and heating works are underway among may other activities whilst superstructure external walls and the flat roof covering will be next to complete.

 

Summary of Works Progressed

• The strengthening support to adjacent buildings and underpinning adjacent structures are now complete.
• Concrete pad foundations, ground beams and strip footings are also completed.
• Steel reinforcement concrete slab and floor slab construction is complete.
• The steel frame structure has been installed and upper suspended steel floor structures are complete.
• Fire coating steel framework is complete.
• Structural framework and weatherboarding external walls are now finished.
• Superstructure external walls are now nearly halfway completed and are expected to make significant progress in the next quarter.

 

Works Scheduled

• Apartment walls and ceilings are almost complete, and work is scheduled to finish in the next quarter.
• Kitchen units, skirting and architrave are all due to complete within the next few months as they are over halfway installed and completed.
• General fixture and fittings to be complete

Throughout the last quarter, a variety of tasks have progressed in both sections of the build including steel frame structures, first fix electrical works and plastering.

Zinc cladding and curtain walling and windows are the main activities scheduled to take place next.

 

Summary of Works Progressed

• Strengthening support to adjacent buildings and underpinning adjacent structures is now completed for the development.
• Concrete strip footings and floor slab construction is ongoing and continuous into the next quarter.
• Superstructure external walls have commenced and are now over one quarter completed, with further walls to be completed soon.
• Flat roof covering is nearing completion.
• Apartment walls and ceilings are around halfway completed within the development.

 

Works Scheduled

• Partition setting out is nearing completion and will be done by next quarter.
• First fix electrical, plumbing and heating are over halfway completed and are expected to gain significant progress within the next few months.
• Smaller tasks have started and are underway for the Ropemaker Place development, this includes; Kitchen units and appliances, skirting and architrave, bathroom fittings and wall and floor tiling.
• The second fix electrical, plumbing and heating has commended and is expected to progress over the next quarter.

Ropemaker Place has made significant progress made as key tasks are now complete.

The Renshaw Street development has seen a lot of progress over the last few months. This includes; completion of the steel frame, internal staircase and floor structures. Plus, the timber flat roof structure is now completed.

 

Summary of Works Progressed

• Sub-structure masonry walls and fire coating to steel framework are almost complete.
• Structure framework forming external walls is 65% complete.
• Timber flat roof structure is almost completely installed.
• Partition setting out in ongoing.
• Apartment walls and ceiling are in the process of being installed.
• Plaster finishes to walls and ceilings are underway.
• First fix electrical works, plumbing and heating are 12% complete.

 

Works Scheduled

• Skirting, architrave and bathroom fittings.
• Walls, doors, ironmongery and floor tiling to be completed.
• Carpet floor to be finished.
• Second fix electrical, plumbing and heating works.
• General fixtures and fittings.
