As the development comes to nearing completion, more significant progress has been made to the exterior and interior of the development. Some of the key highlights of progression are; the completion of glazing to the front block as well as insulation, render and brick slips to the front of the building.
Summary of Works Progressed
- Mechanical and electrical 1st and 2nd fix have progressed across a number of levels, including the fifth, fourth, third and second floors and the main service risers.
- Continued works have also progressed for 1st and 2nd fix partitions and linings to soffits on the fifth, fourth, third, second and first floors.
- Window installation is complete to the rear of the front block and plastering has continued to take place.
- Joinery 1st and 2nd fix is being continued throughout as well as sanitary ware installation, decoration works and tiling.
- The glazing to the front block is now complete. Insulation, render and brick slips to the front building have also all been completed during this time.
- Windows and steel framing system are installed to the link building whilst envelope works on the sixth-floor extension are now complete. Also, on the sixth-floor extension, fit-out works are making excellent progress.
- The mast climbers to the front block have now been fully dismantled.

Throughout the last quarter, kitchens and appliances have started to be installed in the development and around 75% of the windows are now installed. Highlights of quarter two in 2019 include; decoration and envelope installation nearing completion as well as the firefighting lift stalled to 70%.

• Mechanical and electrical 1st and 2nd fix works have progressed to the 5th, 4th, 3rd and 2nd floor levels along with main service risers.

• Additional core testing on the front clock was carried out on 28th April 2018 and 11th June 2018.
• Further asbestos survey is to be completed in the front block once the current occupants have vacated at the end of the month.
• Main contract works are scheduled to commence 2nd July 2018 with site welfare facilities including a cabin to be delivered to site.
• The site hoarding has been erected.

• One of the current lifts need to be a fire fighting lift. The M&E engineer is sourcing a suitable lit from lit manufacturers.
• Works will continue with the removal of electrical fittings, toilet cubicles, ceilings, carpet tiles and internal studwork.
