Maritime View Construction Updates

RWinvest is pleased to share the Q1 2026 construction progress update for Legacie at Maritime View, located at the highly sought-after Heaps Mill waterfront.

Construction continues to progress at pace, with key milestones achieved across internal fit-out, building services, and external envelope works.

A major achievement this period has been the completion of the roof structure, which now provides full weather protection and interior progress can advance in a more efficient and controlled environment.

Lift installation has commenced, marking a crucial step in establishing full vertical connectivity within the building. Once operational, these lifts will support both the future fit-out and ongoing commissioning.

Overall, this quarter marks a period of substantial and steady progress, with key structural, safety, and internal works advancing.

A significant milestone was reached this quarter with the structural frame now completed to full height. Works progressed steadily across multiple fronts, including the extension of hoists and mast climbers to roof level to support upper floor access and logistics.

Initial fit-out works began on lower levels, including mechanical and electrical installations such as ductwork, containment, and soil stacks. External façade works advanced from level 6 upwards, incorporating sheathing, boarding, and weatherproofing layers. Access scaffolding to the lift core was also installed to facilitate upcoming testing and finishing works.

Looking ahead, the team is preparing for the start of roofing and window installation, with the first phase of internal fit-out expected to continue across the lower floors.

Core construction activities continued at pace into the new year, with the central lift and stair core advancing to level 5 and concrete slabs progressing through level 3. The level 1 floor slab was completed, enabling the start of internal service installations on lower levels.

Tower Crane 7 was successfully erected and brought into operation to support continued frame construction, while slab preparation for level 3 was completed. Elsewhere, essential groundwork activities including drainage and foul connection works were undertaken to ensure infrastructure readiness for the next phase of development.

This quarter saw the start of the concrete frame construction following the successful completion of piling and foundations. The core structure rose steadily during this period, with the central lift and stair cores showing strong progress.

Drainage infrastructure continued across the site, while preparations were made for the tower crane installation, with base works completed ahead of mobilisation. The project transitioned confidently into the superstructure phase, maintaining momentum through the end of the year.

Early works progressed well during the third quarter, with site preparation and enabling works reaching completion. Piling commenced across key structural zones, laying the groundwork for foundation installation in the following phase.

Perimeter hoarding and fencing were installed to secure the site, allowing main construction activities to begin in a safe and controlled environment. With a clear programme in place, the team remains on track to begin structural works in the next quarter.
