Liverpool is leading the way with a series of ambitious regeneration projects. Here are some of the exciting upcoming schemes in store for Liverpool.
The Pumpfields District
Pumpfields is a 75-acre district on the northern edge of Liverpool city centre that is undergoing major regeneration. Plans aim to transform this long-neglected area into a vibrant, mixed-use neighbourhood with up to 10,000 new homes, improved infrastructure, and better connections to the city centre and waterfront.
Landmark property developments in this area include the Gateway, which offers luxury apartments alongside ground-floor commercial units including a coffee shop.
Pall Mall Office Investment
Liverpool City Council has set out plans to invest £15 million into a major Grade A office scheme at Pall Mall.
This scheme will deliver an eight-storey office building, creating 111,500 sq ft of premium office space as well as ground-floor units. Plans also include a new urban park.
Not only will this cater to the high demand for commercial space in the city, but it will also strengthen the potential of Liverpool residential investment by increasing the appeal of the city as a great place to live and work.
Liverpool Waters
This £5.5 billion, 30-year Liverpool Waters project is transforming the city’s historic waterfront into five interconnected neighbourhoods.
The scheme will deliver over 9,000 new homes, modern office and commercial spaces, and extensive public and green areas.
The new Everton Stadium at Bramley-Moore Dock, now named Hill Dickinson Stadium, is a key landmark of the area, expected to generate over £1 billion for the local economy and host major events such as UEFA Euro 2028.
Knowledge Quarter
Spanning 450 acres and backed by more than £1 billion in investment, the Knowledge Quarter is positioning Liverpool as a global centre for research, innovation, and advanced manufacturing.
Anchored by leading universities and hospitals, the area is attracting high-skilled jobs and fostering a future-focused urban environment.
