Interior fit-out works progressing across multiple floors
Installation of ceilings, windows, and flooring is continuing throughout the building. Windows have now been installed on Levels 2, 3, and 4, helping to further enclose the structure and create suitable conditions for interior finishing works - Building Systems
Essential building services installation advancing
Work on key building systems, including electrical and mechanical installations, is ongoing on Level 2. Apartment lighting installations have also commenced, bringing homes closer to their finished condition. Apartment interiors taking shape

The Grand Union refurbishment has continued to progress positively through Q1 2026, with on-site activity now firmly focused on internal layouts, services, and core infrastructure. The former office floors are steadily being transformed into high-specification apartments, with strong momentum across multiple trades inside the building.

All new windows for the refurbished elevations have now been ordered, with manufacturing underway to support the next phase of the external upgrade. Internal wall construction is progressing well across every floor, helping to define the layout of individual apartments throughout the scheme. Plumbing teams are actively installing soil vent pipes on all floors, advancing the main vertical drainage routes required for the new apartments. The hoist is being erected and scaffolding installation is well underway, improving site access and enabling external works to progress swiftly. - Lift replacement works are underway
The original lift systems have been fully removed. Preparations are now in place for the installation of brand-new, modern lift units that will significantly enhance the overall building experience. - Service containers are being prepared
Specialised containers that will house the electrical and water infrastructure are currently being prepared for installation. This marks an important step toward fully modernising the building’s core services.
