The Legacie gala event last week was hosted to launch the developer’s newly formed Legacie Foundation.
The Legacie Foundation is a new charitable venture that’s dedicated to helping local organisations tackle social, educational, and community-based challenges.
The foundation supports three inspirational organisations – The Inclusive Hub, Alder Hey Children’s Charity, and the LFC Foundation. All of these charities have been carefully selected by Legacie due to their commitment to caring for and empowering young people and adults in the local community, often from disadvantaged backgrounds.
The Inclusive Hub is a charity that we at RWinvest are particularly passionate about, having supported the organisation for many years.
Since 2016, the Inclusive Hub has helped thousands of people with a wide range of additional needs by offering access to inclusive fitness sessions and providing community and educational services to colleges, schools, and care groups across the city.
John Morley, CEO of Legacie, spoke about what the Legacie Foundation means for the business:
“Legacie has always committed to supporting those on our doorstep in need long before launching Legacie Foundation. The interest and funds generated by last night’s event show that this is just the beginning of the Legacie Foundation.
“I’m excited to see this grow going forward so we can continue to help more people across the north west. It is deeply important to us as a business to give back to the communities in which we work.”
“I’m really proud that we’ve been able to support amazing organisations like Alder Hey, the LFC Foundation, and The Inclusive Hub. The money raised by Legacie and our fantastic partners is going to make a huge difference to people right across our communities.”
