Celebrating Liverpool’s Regeneration and Growth
Held at the Crowne Plaza Liverpool, YM Liverpool’s black-tie gala brought together leading figures from the city’s property, business, and regeneration sectors.
The evening was hosted by Liverpool-born actor and presenter Claire Sweeney, who shared fond memories of growing up in the city and spoke passionately about how proud she is to see Liverpool’s skyline transformed by new developments and regeneration projects. Her reflections set the tone for a night focused on progress, community impact, and the long-term future of the Liverpool City Region.
Among the evening’s stand-out moments were powerful talks from Lawrence Saunders of YM Liverpool and Nuala Gallagher, corporate director of city development at Liverpool City Council.
Both highlighted the vital role that developers, investors, and agencies play in driving sustainable growth, delivering new homes, and creating communities that people are proud to live in. For RWinvest, being recognised in this environment underlined how closely our work aligns with the wider vision for Liverpool’s regeneration and economic future.
Big Wins for RWinvest, Nexus, and Legacie
2025 has been a huge year of growth for RWinvest, launching new landmark developments, celebrating 21 years of business, and opening our first international office in Dubai. To end the year as Property Investment Company of the Year, following two previous years of the same award win, is something we’re incredibly proud of!
It was also a successful night for RWinvest’s long-standing development partners, Nexus Residential and Legacie.
SoapWorks, the major mixed-use regeneration scheme in Liverpool’s emerging Northern Quarter, took home the Urban Renewal Project of the Year award.
The development is set to deliver hundreds of new homes alongside commercial space and resident amenities, helping to transform a former industrial site into a vibrant new neighbourhood.
Central Park, another flagship Nexus scheme, was recognised for its Outstanding Contribution to Community Infrastructure.
The development brings eco-focused apartments to the Baltic Triangle alongside a new public piazza, upgraded streetscape, and significant Section 106 contributions to local parks, public art, and tree planting—demonstrating how investment can directly enhance the wider community.
Legacie were named Property Developer of the Year 2025, a well-deserved recognition and a perfect way to end a groundbreaking year for the developer! Legacie and RWinvest also celebrated a win for the Gateway Liverpool, which received the Future Ambition Award, while Jayde Spa inside Parliament Square won the prestigious Innovation Award.
RWinvest was also shortlisted for Property Marketing Team of the Year, reflecting the strength of not only our client-facing but also our creative and digital teams. From data-led market insights to bespoke investor resources and educational content, our marketing plays a key role in helping clients understand the opportunities available and make well-informed decisions.
