Launched in 2021 by football legends Jamie Carragher, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Conor Coady, Football For Change has grown into one of the UK’s most dynamic charitable organisations.
Since launching four years ago, Football For Change has raised £1.5million, a huge sum made possible by events like this year’s gala, generous fundraising schemes, and sponsorships.
The charity’s core mission is to unlock opportunities for young people in education, sport, and employment. The money raised for the charity over the years has enabled disadvantaged young people to experience life-changing retreats in the USA, and funded grants for more than 50 organisations.
Projects championed by Football For Change tackle the digital divide by providing essential technology for students, delivering key training for those not in education or employment, and inspiring hope in communities where opportunities are often limited.
These donations have also helped form the Football for Change fund, which considers a wide range of community and charitable projects that support young people, including:
- Educational programmes which help young people gain access to higher education and/or training.
- Life-changing sporting opportunities that offer the chance for young people to access careers in sport, or take part in sporting events.
- Training and apprenticeships to support career development for young people.
- Programmes set up to help young people affected by crime.
RWinvest has supported Football for Change since the beginning, and we’re proud to promote this amazing organisation in any way we can.
Our partner developers at Legacie also sponsored the event, sharing in our commitment to supporting and strengthening local communities.
