RWinvest & Legacie Support FFC Gala Through Sponsorship

RWinvest is proud to announce that we are sponsors for Football for Change.

We have joined forces with longtime partner Legacie Developments to become sponsors of the 2024 Football for Change (FFC) annual fundraising gala, which took place in Liverpool this weekend.

It was the first time the event has been held in Liverpool since 2021 when Football for Change was launched by a string of Premier League superstars and PR firm This Generation Communications. The initiative has raised over £1.1 million since then. It aims to “lift young people from disadvantaged backgrounds out of poverty by providing grants for life-changing opportunities in education, employment and sport.”

John Morley, CEO of Legacy, commented: “We believe in creating opportunities for all, especially for young people facing challenges due to poverty, so supporting Football For Change is a natural partnership for us. It allows us to contribute directly to the lives of these young individuals, helping them realise their potential and build a better future. It’s a core part of who we are as a company.”

Football for Change Gala Held in Liverpool Last Weekend

This year’s Football for Change fundraising gala was another star-studded and high-spirited event. It took place on Saturday 2nd November at the Titanic Hotel, and headline sets were performed by Paloma Faith and Texas.

Football for Change chairman Jamie Carragher hosted the event alongside comedian Matt Lucas. The evening also featured a Q&A session between Jamie and Trent Alexander-Arnold (still in his tracksuit following his game at Anfield only a few hours previously), and a video message from Sir Keir Starmer, saluting Jamie Carragher, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Conor Coady for their charity work.

Prior to the event, Jamie Carragher commented: “It is amazing to have Paloma Faith and Texas supporting Football For Change by playing at our fundraising gala in November. They are both music icons in their own right who put on an amazing show, and we’re all looking forward to it. It is going to be a fantastic night.”

It will be my third investment apartment with RW Invest and I cannot recommend them highly enough. Sean Orrett and Chloe Walker really do go the extra mile. Chloe in particular helped me through a particularly hard time with solicitors and all the paperwork that was involved. Living in a different country and negotiating all the nuances that come with investing, she negotiated with ease and gusto. A big thanks to you both.

Daniel Stewart, has assisted me every step of the way. This is my first property purchase and so took Daniel up on his offer to guide me through every step no matter how small. I felt comforted to have his assistance in documents I needed to both understand and sign. Couldn't be happier with the help and customer care I have received so far.
